Ballarat Wedding – Lauren Drage Photography

I had a wonderful opportunity to second shoot a wedding a couple of weeks ago, with the very talented Robb Duncan of Pixxil Photography
It was a beautiful day, a very lovely and intimate wedding with the ceremony held at the Ballarat Art Galleryand the reception at Pipers by the Lake.

As this was the first wedding I have shot I wanted to share this image as it represents so much about a wedding day and it was one of my favourites from the day :)  When I look at this I see solidarity, two standing as one as they are about to walk into a life committed to each other and their families, this of course might say different things to you but that’s art I guess… we each see our own story.

A little while ago I got to photograph two lovely sisters and their little ones in Echuca. Shannon was just pregnant then, and we got to catch up again to do some maternity photos :) I travelled out to Kerang for these photographs, Shannon only has a few weeks left before baby no. 2 joins the family and she looks wonderful!!

A couple of weekends ago I got to spend an afternoon with Talissa, who kindly dressed up for the occasion :) This was a chance for me to practice some bridal images and a take a lovely walk around Echuca!

We started at Coriander B&B for some great images around their lovely homestead and then continued down to the Echuca Port for some more images there.. here are some of the results.

Echuca Family Photography – Kelli & Kevin

I had a lovely time photographing Kelli & Kevin last weekend, along with their extended family. Everyone was relaxed and we had lots of fun taking photos at some of their favourite spots around Echuca, at home they used the fantastic Bar they have built in the shed, and the beautiful fenery with its gorgeous water [...]
 

I had a lovely time photographing Kelli & Kevin last weekend, along with their extended family. Everyone was relaxed and we had lots of fun taking photos at some of their favourite spots around Echuca, at home they used the fantastic Bar they have built in the shed, and the beautiful fenery with its gorgeous water feature, then we got to go out to a great spot on the river that they spend a bit of time at.. and it was a new spot for me, I will have to remember it though, it was some of the nicest river frontage I have seen!

We ended up having Kelli & Kevin along with Kelli’s Mum and Kevin’s Dad, 4 God children, 2 partners and the parents of 3 of those godchildren, and who could forget Zeena who is affectionately referred to as another grandchild by Kelli’s Mum.

Echuca Photography – Bridal/Wedding Photography

Over the weekend I was very blessed to deal with two wonderful Echuca wedding suppliers. I had arranged to do a Bridal session with the lovely Tallisa (more to come of her later), and requested a friend to do some Flowers for me, Zoe runs Sugar Rose along with Vanessa who does all their gorgeous cakes!

Over the weekend I was very blessed to deal with two wonderful Echuca wedding suppliers. I had arranged to do a Bridal session with the lovely Tallisa (more to come of her later), and requested a friend to do some Flowers for me, Zoe runs Sugar Rose along with Vanessa who does all their gorgeous cakes!

I had asked Zoe for something just to add to the shoot, not expecting too much, especially since she was doing this for me on a Sunday… well, I was wowed by her skill and the flowers were more than I ever expected… so here are some images from the weekend.

 

In addition to Sugar Rose doing the lovely flowers for me, Coriander Bed and Breakfast allowed us to use their property for the images, if you haven’t already, you need to find a reason to stay at Coriander, it is beautiful!

Keep an eye out for the next blog post, I also had a very awesome extended family session on the weekend and will be blogging that later in the week :)
